New Website

I haven't been as consistent as I want to be posting because I have actually been crazy busy doing freelance design. So I decided I need to get with it and have an online portfolio. Which required me to brand myself, so after some careful/thoughtful consideration.... Obtainable Design was chosen. I figured why not tie both my blog and freelance designs together. The new site should be up in a few weeks but for now the logo is below:

Fashion's Night Out Atlanta

I recently worked with Fashion's Night Out Atlanta on some promotional materials. A print ad, banner ad and a map that will run in the Aug 28 AJC, it should be a great time!

How Do You Relax?

Everyone has a comfort zone or routine when they need a break! If I could have my way I would do the following (all in the same day) but most times I have to chose a few:
• Mani/Pedi
• Sushi
• Mask
• Massage
• Shower followed by a nap in a freezing cold house so I can be all wrapped up in down comforter with my baby pillow/blanket
• Hot tea in a proper cup and saucer
• Reruns of Las Vegas
• All white nightgowns and my new light grey robe

Temporary Tattoos

I have been wanting a tattoo for a while but I want to be completely sure of where I want it. I tried drawing it on which worked ok until I found tattly.

The company uses illustrators and designers to create these amazing design (which are actually for children but whatev). Now I am obsessed with the Scribble tat. I may even make this design permanent! Something about it says "I embrase chaos!" And they even throw in a couple free ones!

After a quick weekend trip to H&M I picked up this look in one trip. I am slowly working in more fall colors and looks in my wardrobe. I love the long tail on the shirt and blend of neutrals:

Gift Wrapping

I was recently recently had the privilege of being a maid of honor. So I decided to make the lingerie for the honeymoon a little more special and wrapped each piece for the groom to pick and unwrap each night. I decided on uniform square white boxes and used varying hues of blue and green hand cut tissue paper with natural raffia and gold inspired by The Gifted Blog. I topped them off with a monogram "L" the couples last name and gave each a gift tag with a name for the piece decided on by the bridesmaids at the bachelorette:

Today's Look: Tucker Dress

Its rare that I actually have to dress up for work, but when we have client meetings its on. This Tucker dress is the best way to be business dressed and still casual. And since I was super indecisive this morning, I just left on all the necklaces I tried out:

The Past Few Months...

I have been super super super busy over the past couple oaths which left zero time for any sort of free time for my blog - which I have dearly missed. SO below is a photo diary of what I have been up to:
