Game Day

Today was the first game of this football season so we picked a restaurant with a deck outside to enjoy the amazing weather. I am super excited about the next few Saturdays of this!!!

Clogs

I found a pair of clogs by Isaac Mizrahi at Target in college, and something told me to hang onto them. So now that this season is full of clogs I felt now was the time for a resurface.

How to: Curtains

Nothing finishes a room like curtains, they are the final touch of style and color to complete a room. So when I moved in my new house I really wanted curtains in the living room. I ran into a challenge with the long bay window in the front. So I decided with a little help from my sweet dad I could make the curtain rod. We used a 1.5" wood dowel and spray painted it glossy black. After a few coats and a few hours of drying time, we drilled holes in each end and screwed in finials that came already painted black. I bought 2" chrome curtain rings to finish soft cream curtains. We repeated the process for the other window and I was super excited with the turnout!

Pure Barre

Today I went to my first Pure Barre class. My roommate Ashley is the manager and has been dying to get me and my other two guy roommates to take a class. So Jeff and I headed to class, he not knowing he would be the only guy, is now proud to tell all that he is the only guy in GA to have taken class so far. It was an amazing workout and a great time. Since Ash and I are unashamed massive Justin Bieber fans, the mix during the workout could not have been better! This may be the start regularly working out....

High Waisted Skirts

I find high-waisted skirts to be the most flattering, and they work both casual and formal. Below are some of my favorites!

Office Meeting

Today I have two meetings in the office which requires I get out of bed in time to actually blow dry and straighten my hair, which I would not usually do... It also requires a more professional business look so I pulled out my bright blue cropped pants from High School. Case in point why- you should always hold on to random pieces like this in case styles come back. I added a deep purple silk shell and and nude heels to complete the look.

Hamburger Perfection

Recently my good friend Kendal was lucky enough to encounter the most perfect and delicious hamburger on the planet from Cypress Street Bar. Its a hamburger housed between a glazed donut that has been lightly grilled. The combination of sweet and savory is unreal!!
